8th Graders
Boston
Boston is in 8th grade at Bedford Junior High School. Boston’s past experience with robotics is when he was on the Classical Engineers team last year. He joined Robotics because he wanted a hobby and he also likes to build things. The thing Boston most enjoys about Robotics is build. He also wants to learn more about the different parts of the robot. He plans to follow gracious professionalism by working as a team and helping other teams when they need it. When Bostons grows up, he wants to join the United States Marine Corps. His hobbies are building things and gaming.
Keith
Keith’s past experience with robotics is he has done it for 4 years from FLL to FTC. Keith has 1 year experience in FLL and this is his 3rd year in FTC. He joined robotics to learn how to grow with a team. He wanted to practice marketing and wants to learn TinkerCAD. Keith plans to show gracious professionalism by helping other teams with whatever they need and by cheering for other teams even when they are not playing. In the future, Keith wants to be an inventor. Keith’s hobbies include robotics and band.
7th Graders
Katelyn
Katelyn is a 7th grader at Bedford Junior High and is 12 years old. This is Katelyn second year in FTC and she also did one year of FLL. She joined robotics because she loved everything that she did last year and enjoyed the tournaments. She likes programming, marketing and outreach. Katelyn wants to learn more about build and try doing it more than last year. Katelyn shows gracious professionalism by helping other teams in tournaments, the other teams in the Robotics Center and by being a great teammate. When she grows up she wants to be a Cardiologist. Her hobbies are Dance and Track.
Coleman
Coleman is a 7th grader at Bedford Junior High. Coleman has 3 years of FLL experience and this is his 2nd year in FTC. He enjoys building and 3D printing at practice. This year Coleman wants to learn mechanical basics and basic wiring. Coleman plans on showing gracious professionalism by helping other teams. Coleman wants to be a robotic engineer or game designer in the future. His hobbies are gaming hanging out and snacking.
Logan
Logan is in 7th grade at Bedford Junior High School. Engineering is something that Logan has been wanting to do for a very long time. He has never been in robotics and is very excited to do it this year. Building and programming a robot is what he wants to learn how to do this year. He really likes playing video games but mainly building things with Legos. Chemical engineering is what he wants to do when he is older. He plans to work for Ford.
Kaleb
Kaleb is a 7th grader at Bedford Junior High School. He has had 2 years of experience in JFLL, 2 years of experience in FLL, and this is his 2nd year of FTC. He joined robotics because he loved programming and he loved being a part of The Classical Engineers last year. One thing that Kaleb wants to learn is how to wire the robot parts. One way he plans to follow gracious professionalism is by helping local businesses and helping other teams with different problems. In the future, he wants to start his own business, and some of his hobbies are reading, and programming.
Bennett
Bennett is a 7th grader at Bedford Junior High School. Bennett has done Junior FLL robotics in 3rd grade and this is his first year in FTC. He wanted to join robotics to build robots, show his ideas, help people out, and experiment with engineering. He enjoys building the most. He plans to follow gracious professionalism by focusing on his job, respecting all players, and helping others out. He wants to do aerospace or mechanical engineering as his job in the future. Bennett’s hobbies are building with legos, playing football, and playing soccer. His interests are engineering, Star Wars, and building robots.
6th Graders
Cain
Cain is a 6th grader at Bedford Junior High. This is Cain’s first year in robotics. He would like to help in build and in CAD designing. Cain joined robotics because he likes to build things. He hopes to learn to design things. He plans to help show Gracious Professionalism by helping other teams if their robot breaks. Cain wants to design all kinds of things. Cain’s hobbies are drawing, origami and art
Dominic
Dominic is a 6th grader at Bedford Junior High School. Dominic has no past experience with robotics. He joined robotics because he wants to get better with technology. The job he wants to practice is programming, building, and outreach. He wants to learn how to make a robot that works. He plans to follow gracious professionalism by helping the community. His job in the future will be an interior designer. His interests and hobbies are video games, robots, and tv shows.
Josh
Joshua is eleven years old and a sixth grader at the Bedford Junior High. He has been in robotics for a couple years on a FLL robotics team. He is excited to learn how to code, wire, and build robots. He loves to build and come up with new ideas. He plans on following gracious professionalism by supporting everyone regardless of what team they are on. Joshua enjoys playing video games like Minecraft where he builds a lot of things. He also likes swimming and playing football.
Lance
Lance is a 6th grader at Bedford Junior High. Lance has 2 years experience in FLL. He joined robotics because he is good building things. Lance wants to learn how to build a robot and wire it. Lance plans to show gracious professionalism by helping other teams whenever they need it. He wants to be a scientist in the future that creates robots and does tests on them. Lance loves drawing and art.
