We have 4 weeks left before the Bedford qualifier. Hopefully we can finish building the robot before it comes. For build, we are working on the ball carrier and the pull-up mechanism. We discussed ideas for the promote video. Hopefully we will have that video uploaded and ready to view soon. For programming today we also just tried (still) to work the program to program the robot. We have made progress and are excited to get the sensors on the robot.
Last Thursday we were able to tour the U.T.M.C. (University of Toledo Medical Center) Health Science Campus Inter-Professional Immersive Simulation Center. We got to see a 3-D program created by U.T. that allows you to see all the layers on the human body, nerves, veins, etc. We got to see A robotic dummy to practice patient care on. We met Larry (The robotic dummy's name) who we could help and interact with. We got to practice robotic surgery with tools and we tried moving triangles to a certain place while looking at a small screen to do it.
P.S. Congratulations to the ''Bionic Broncos'' on advancing to the state this past weekend at the Canton qualifier! :D
